My Grandma Minnie was a fabulous cook. She cooked for her large family and anyone who entered her house. You couldn't visit her without eating at her table. Even if you just ate you would eat again at her house. If you required a special diet she could fix it. If you liked sweets she had them. If you were in a hurry she had it already made. No one left her house hungry.
Now about my Aunt Mary. She was a professional cook. She cooked in schools back in the day when they cooked in schools. She made those oatmeal chocolate cookie that everyone loves. She made the best yeast rolls from scratch and her Thanksgiving dinner was oh so good. her house always smelled so country good.
Both of these ladies influenced my cooking and with this blog I will share their cooking and my memories. I hope you enjoy both.
